Since the role will encompass handling multiple projects / assignments, the incumbent must have exposure to supporting clients on multiple projects / assignments & handling them with tact / diplomacy / assertiveness. Expertise at job planning & proven time management skills is very critical to success on the role.
The role requires the incumbent to come out with strategic analysis & recommendations & so, he /she must be very conversant with the happenings in the economy, in general, & with respect to the sectors mentioned above. Demonstrated expertise at critical reasoning is a must.
The role requires the incumbent to interact, make presentations to senior / top management of reputed companies. So, the incumbent should possess excellent communication skills, both Oral & written, apart from being very high on self confidence.
The role will have a team reporting into it & so, experience at managing teams effectively is a must. The candidate will lead a research team that will undertake market research assignments in the areas / sectors specified above.

Desired Candidate Profile
The candidate must have exposure to working on research projects with respect to the sectors mentioned above. The candidate must have adequate experience in ad hoc research, specifically product testing, U&A, pricing etc is a must. A good grasp & hold on quantitative research techniques & tools like questionnaire / research design / preparing a research execution plan etc will also be a must.

The candidate must have worked on / have exposure to consulting / research projects in tobacco/fmcg/ service sectors.
